Getting to Know Mental Health in Indonesia

The condition when our mind is in a peaceful and calm state, so that
allows us to enjoy everyday life and appreciate others around us, which are the characteristics of stable mental health. For today's children, the term mental health is no longer foreign to the ear. But in fact, in Indonesia, mental health is still considered taboo.
Most people with mental disorders are of productive age. This can
due to the influence of the school/home/community environment, friendship circles, culture, traumatic events, congenital disorders and can even occur due to accidents. For example, the most common in productive age groups are Depression, Schizophrenia, Bipolar, Eating Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders), and many others.
The impact of mental health disorders on sufferers has different levels, from those that can be treated to those that can endanger themselves and others.
For people with mental disorders, the support of those closest to them is the key to them getting better. But in Indonesia, the stigma of mental health is very high, as a result many sufferers experience discrimination from society. Because of this discrimination, many sufferers experience fear that it makes their condition worse and can even lead to suicide.
I feel that we should have an open mind about mental health,
